Since each note is attached to multiple strings, they should vibrate at the same frequency to produce a crisp, sustained tone. Remember to keep it stored in a cool, dry place, keep it out of direct sunlight, and have it tuned routinely. Any time an issue arises, be sure to address it promptly as it can worsen over time.
